     Position: Duty Manager

    Reports to: Assistant General Manager

    Location: The Spa at Beckenham

    Salary:    £20,391.00 per annum plus benefits

    Job Type: Permanent, full time (40 hours per week, including evening and weekend shifts)

    We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager to join our award winning leisure trust. If you are already a Duty Manager or looking to start a career in leisure we have a permanent opportunity available throughout our leisure centre in the Beckenham. London.

    In this role you will work within one of our biggest leisure sites, ensuring the health and safety or our staff and customers and maintaining excellent standards of customer service and presentation. You will manage all key operational areas, managing staff resources, operations and activities.

    Previous experience of working as a member of a team in a busy environment is essential.

    You will work closely with the Assistant General Manager to ensure the efficient day to day operation and activities at the Centre.


    What skills we are looking for

    Essential requirements:

    Professional attitude and desire to deliver excellent customer service;

      • Excellent communication skills;

      • Energetic and enthusiastic with a good standard of physical fitness; and

      • A can-do attitude and a real focus on customer service and passion for operational excellence.



    National Pool Lifeguard Qualification;

      • First Aid qualification; and

      • A Supervisory and Pool Plant Operator’s qualifications.

    Training will be available should you be prepared to achieve these as a condition of appointment.
