    Position:                Work Place Health Manager

    Reports to:           Service Manager

    Location:               Blakenall Village Centre, Walsall

    Salary:                    £30,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience)

    Job Type:               Manager

    Start date:            ASAP

    Hours:                    Full time - 40 hours per week

    We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially driven manager to embed the healthy Workplace Programme in an agreed number of small, medium and large businesses across Walsall.


    The aim of the workplace wellbeing charter is to ensure that an effective healthy workplace is core to the Businesses Senior Management Team with a focus on Leadership, the Physical Environment as well as employee Health & Wellbeing.


    The team undertake a number of lifestyle activities, as well as supporting companies to become accredited to the workplace wellbeing charter.


    As a self motivated, experienced individual with an interest and commitment to workplace health, you will be responsible for managing the delivery team, whilst successfully accrediting an agreed number of Walsall Businesses with the Workplace Wellbeing Charter. 

    These workplaces will fall into one of two categories

    • Small and medium size businesses with a high proportion of either routine & manual workers,  low paid workers , those with a long term condition - who will receive this service free of charge

    • Larger  business who do not fill the above eligibility criteria and will be  required to pay for the service


      The role requires the expectation of flexibility to cover the service operational hours of 8am – 6pm. From time to time you will be required to support with events and service user engagement at weekends / evenings.
